This is sort of unofficial.... but we have had a number of map number clashes lately so I will keep a list of map number reservations here.

468 - Leon
540 - 1 Terminator
664, 680, 682 - Starbuck
691, 692 - starbuck
694 - Doug Hone
731-750 - Andrey Zorin (some have been finished)
760 - Wonderdoctor
762 - Wonderdoctor
769-771 - BobC
773-775 - Santiago Fuertes
777 - Gustlik
1039, 1052-1060 - Clu

Someone did not take my earlier reservation into account so I will have to hex-edit (Is there another option?) Mons to 393.

sorry about that..... but it should be less of a problem now. Hex editing is the only way to go...

Well you can change it using the Suite ... no need to hex edit.

There is an editable map number field on the map page. I loaded up the Mons scenario, changed the map number and saved the map. Then I changed the names of the shp files and that was all there is to it. No idea how long this feature has been available in the suite.

Nop, this feature is there from the first Suite release :lol

In fact it was first included on the old MapReport 1.06 tool - November 2001 - which became the initial browse view of the Suite.

p.s. The whole point of reserving map numbers is to try an use up the lower numbers.... if you have chosen a high number there is probably no need to reserve it.

393 is the lowest free & unreserved one.

EDIT: Actually, 394 is...

(numbers not updated).

there it says (you say) that 392 is free but here it sais (you say) that it is reserved to Doug...

OK..... but there is no real need to reserve the higher map number. I am hoping to use up the smaller numbers.

I will use another number more, because I should make a bigger map of Asturias, so the first smaller version will be also a new map.

Hi!

I read that reserving a higher number is probably not necessary. But since I had quite some trouble applying a number to my map and I'm not quite sure what caused it, I'd like to reserve #886.
